- We may ask for proportionate identity verification to protect your data. Do not send passwords, verification codes or identity documents unless we request them through an appropriate channel.
You may complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission if you are concerned about our handling of your information. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal, or information we must retain for another lawful purpose.
8. Payment Information
Payment processing is handled by Paystack, a PCI DSS compliant payment processor. We do not store full credit card numbers. Paystack handles all payment information according to their own privacy policy.
9. Children's Privacy

Accounts are intended for people aged 18 or over. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact privacy@renewablezmart.com so we can investigate and take appropriate steps, including deletion where required.
10. Data Retention
- Account Information: Retention depends on whether the account remains active, outstanding service obligations and applicable legal requirements.
- Transaction Records: Records may need to be retained for accounting, tax, fraud prevention and resolving disputes.
- Payment Data: Not stored (Paystack only)
- Security and Support Records: Retention depends on the purpose of the record and any unresolved incident or request.
- Marketing Preferences: We retain consent and opt-out records as needed to respect your choices.
- Verification Records: Retention depends on the verification purpose, related account or service, and applicable requirements.
You can ask us about the retention period for your information or request deletion. Some records may need to remain after an account closes because of legal obligations, outstanding transactions or disputes.
11. International Data Transfers
Hosting and other service providers may process information outside Nigeria. Such transfers are subject to applicable data-protection requirements. Contact privacy@renewablezmart.com for information about the locations and safeguards relevant to your data. Using the Platform is not treated as blanket consent to every international transfer.
